Meet Miss Kristen!
I can't wait to be your mentor through your Baby Signs® journey!
I am an elementary school teacher with a Bachelor's of Art in Education. I have a passion for working with families and helping them connect with their children. Most importantly I am a mother. I have 2 beautiful children (ages 8 and 5) that share in our family adventures. When I am not mentoring families or teaching, I can be found with my family camping, kayaking, leading my daughter's Girl Scout troop or hanging out at the beach.
My Baby Signs® adventure started with my oldest who we began using the Baby Signs® Program with. We knew with our second, we were going to use signing as well! We used it not only boost their communication skills, but to build a life-long connection of open communication. As a family we immediately fell in love with the program and we called it one of the "game changers" of the parenting tools we learned!
As a parent or caregiver, I know how important building relationships and having the tools, mentors and resources available to do just that are. I hope that you will welcome me into you and your child's life as you unlock the tools needed to communicate with your child, even before your child can talk!
